In October of 2019, I had the opportunity to travel to Paris to edit the latest feature film by acclaimed filmmaker Pan Nalin.
Last Film Show is an ode to cinema. The story follows Samay, a 9-year-old boy living with his family in a remote village in Western India. One day, he discovers films and is instantly mesmerized. Against his father’s wishes, he returns to the cinema day after day, befriends the projectionist, and gets lost in the world of celluloid. . .

The film had a grand World Premiere Spotlight at Tribeca Film Festival New York 2021.
The film released theatrically in India to great critical and audience response in October 2022. (Indian title in native Gujarati language: Chello Show)
The film will release theatrically in the USA, and be available to stream on Netflix in December 2022.
The film was selected as India’s Official Selection to the Oscars (Academy Awards) in 2022.
The film became the first Indian film in 21 years to make it to the 15-film shortlist to the nominations for Best International Feature Award category for 2023.
