Sandeep Mohan’s second outing, Hola, Venky! is an independent English feature film set in San Francisco. It tells the story of Venky, a techie from India who gains some insights about manhood after suffering a minor tragedy in a manhood-related area of himself.

Made on a shoestring budget, this film is trying to break new ground in Indian film distribution. The filmmakers are aiming to self-distribute through private corporate and home screenings and the film may even be the first Indian film to be released in India through Vimeo On Demand.

The film premiered in January 2014 in select cities in the US.
