“2183 Days Of…” is an experimental cinematic poem, directed by French photographer/filmmaker Natasha de Betak.
The film is a passionate, subjective observation of the decay of the body and soul of Baba Nagnath of Varanasi, over his six-year-long hunger strike to save the holy river of Ganga. The linear decay of Baba and the town of Varanasi, is juxtaposed with images of death and destruction as represented by the goddess Kali, in a free-associative manner.

I had the rare and precious opportunity to work on this piece in a holistic way, blending together editing, colour grading, visual effects, sound design and music design, completely in service of the artist’s vision.
